The finalists include contestants from Bolivia, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Nigeria, Russia, Chile, Thailand, Denmark, Canada, and Peru. According to Marca, Peru, Venezuela, and Mexico were earlier considered frontrunners in the competition.
